Let there be LIGHT
I'm not so sure that we have ever been so excited for Spring...but more specifically to see the SUN! Due to heavy schedules these last three months, we haven't been able to travel like the previous years. We didn't understand people when they said the sun doesn't shine in Michigan until this year...and then we REALLY realized how depressing gray skies really are.
While we were mourning without the sun, we did go to a boat show in Detroit and got an exceptionally good deal on Jeff's first slalom ski. We went out and ate with our friends who we go and ski with at Strawberry Lake last month and needless to say, we all are having H2O fever.
Mom & dad are currently in Chicago driving to Ann Arbor today to spend the weekend with us. Did I mention we were also going into family deprivation? This was the first time we have went three months without seeing ANY family members so we are super excited to spend some time with them and not have to think about school, work, or other life stressors.
So for now, we will appreciate Gen. 1:3-- And God said, 'Let there be light', and there was light.
