6 months old

Mikayla is 6 months old and sitting up on her own! She slowly has been able to steady herself and Tuesday she decided to do it herself...and now refuses to do anything else :). She also decided to get up on her knees and elbows this week. I'm afraid crawling is just around the corner. This month Grandma and Grandpa Keller came for a visit and we gave Mikayla's room a makeover (pictures to come). Mikayla also started eating rice...which resulted in a week long constipation battle so lucky for her, Mikayla's first fruit got to be prunes. We also had some very missed people come to visit. Mikayla reacquainted herself very quickly Ryan and Mike (which didn't seem to difficult when she figured out they were willing to spoil her just a LITTLE bit :)). Along with all of that, she has also became a good helper, especially with laundry, so we now can take down the yellow "Disaster Zone" tape on our house. Jeff has been home more this month so he often gets a lap full of love :)...we all missed him and can't explain how nice it is to have him around more often and how much we dread October coming. Again, my blog is not loading pictures correctly so I am unable to put descriptions under the pictures so I apologize, but hopefully this little paragraph explains them well enough.
