Summer Vacation

We had an amazing vacation this year at Burt Lake, MI. Nicole's parents met us there with the camper and we brought the boat.  The campground was very nice, the lake was clear (kind of cold!), huge, and beautiful, and the food we ate (prepared by mom) was great! We topped every night off with a s'more which just put the icing on the cake!  Burt Lake is connected to two other lakes by a river that we rode down one day which was very relaxing after we knew it was deep enough for our boat.  We also did a couple of rounds of golf and went mountain biking (Grandma and Mikayla opted to stay at the campground for that one :) ).  We had no plans any of the days we were there but every day we seemed to fill it with loads of fun, activities, and relaxation.  We had such a good time and think that mom and dad did as well :-).
