Surfing, Birthdays, Flips & more...

Jeff is on orthopedic surgery right now, specifically joints, and really liking what he is doing. It sounds like he has found his spot in the medicine world. He is in the midst of writing his resume now in preparation for applying to residency programs. I started one of my summer classes and am also in the middle of orientation at St. Joe's. This week has been a busy week, but we still were able to get some fun in...

Jeff is getting the surf board figured out!
The nice thing about surfing is the falls sure are nice and smooth :).

This is what a hard fall looks like in motion (& when we ask "why do we enjoy torturing ourselves in such a way?").
And this is what a successful flip looks like in motion....

This was a new trick that Brad is learning, but I can't remember the name of it. He didn't get quite high enough to land this one and decided to take a break from it for the day after the hard fall :).

Jeff's Birthday....I had originally planned to go out and eat at a restraunt where we get 1/2 half the bill on your birthday, but instead of getting home at 5:45 like originally estimated, Jeff didn't get home until 7:00. So we did the second half of my plan and went to Iron Man II where Mike & Ryan suprised him by showing up to celebrate with us.

Tasha & Jasper got their first real taste of human food with their first bones....Tasha was so intrigued by it that she wouldn't even fix her foot hanging over the leash for the first 10 minutes :) & Jasper was EXTREMELY protective of his precious bone until he finished it 20 minutes later.
