Christmas

Christmas comes as fast as it leaves it seems. Christmas Eve we spent a really nice evening with Rachel and David and enjoyed a delicious meal they brought over. Christmas Day our prayers were answered and we had as 'normal' of a Christmas, or maybe even better, then we would have even without this news. Our thoughts and feelings were totally protected and set aside for the day. Unexplained peace throughout the entire day from dawn to dusk for the entire family. The day ended with Mikayla telling Jeff "Thank you for today, this was the best and my favorite Christmas yet". Nothing special and no expectations, just us all hanging out in our Christmas pajamas all day together enjoying the gift of time.
