Prayer Requests

I had a really hard time deciding what pictures to post, so many of these are similar. Mikayla is very close to giggling, but can't quite get it out :). However, she sure is starting to talk a lot. She has also discovered her hands and learned that they can be used to grab her clothes, blankets, etc. and loves to pick them up, but isn't really too sure about toys yet. We measured her today and she is 22 in. long and growing!

We do have a couple of prayer requests. We have church friends out here who have a 1 1/2 year old boy, Emery, in very critical condition due to a bowel problem. He has been in and out of the hospital throughout his life, but has been doing very good until a couple of weeks ago. Two Saturdays ago he was suppose to be discharged from the hospital, but started to again have severe abdominal pain just hours prior to discharge. He again seemed to be doing okay over the course of the week until last Saturday night. He took a big turn for the worse and ended up in surgery. Now he is in the ICU on a ventilator with many medications infusing in him to the point where circulation is no longer very well to his feet. The dad is also a resident here and their families live very far away as well. Please keep them in your prayers. They have a blog as well (davidandmilly.blogspot.com) that you can follow if you would like and can see what a cutie pie this little guy is!
Also, we just met up with a girl from Watertown, SD whose little one that is about 1 1/2 months older then Mikayla and is in need of a heart transplant. They will be staying here in Ann Arbor until then. We came in touch with her through Kim who met her in Watertown's hospital. As of now she is in stable condition, but saying she is "stable" by no means is saying that she is "healthy" and on her way home.

Nothing can stop Tasha's love for the sun :)!

Mikayla is starting to somewhat enjoy her bath time again.

We decided to water proof our deck today, however, the little one decided she didn't want to be alone either....so here was the result :)
