Baby Steps Forward Nov. 22

Last night was a rough one.  They did a chest X-ray to see if something more happened to his lungs. We are thanking God that his protecting hand was over Ezra and his lungs still looked good. It seems that when they repositioned him the tube that helps him breathe accidentally got slightly misplaced for a small period of time.  Since his lungs are so fragile anything like this can cause a lot of trouble but as scary as it was we are so grateful it was that and not something else.  As of an hour ago Ezra was making baby steps forward again, praise the Lord. His blood pressure is still labile but a lot of that is caused by the dialysis and getting the right formula to take off the right amount of fluid that helps filter yet not so much volume that his body can't handle it. Again, thank you so so much for the continued prayers. They are so powerful. Being in a situation like this has been such a big reminder that we need God every hour- our one defense, our righteousness- both during the good times and the bad.
