Tuesday, Nov. 29th Evening

Ezra had an up and down day in the morning and early afternoon today and then was a little more stable late afternoon so hopefully that will continue throughout the night. He took some good steps forward and then some steps backwards.  After a diaper change he struggled keeping his oxygen level up midday even after doing bag/suction and then really decided to decrease his oxygen level to extremely low so they then had to bag/suction some more and finally were able to suction out a large mucus plug.  The dialysis fluid output is still slightly cloudy so they've been trying to figure out today what the cause of it is.  We are very thankful that the last four cultures in the last four days have been negative but they would still like to try and find an answer as to why it is cloudy.  They did some more testing of the fluid today and should know what the results are tomorrow morning to see if they found anything or ruled anything else out.
