Transfer to Rady's Children's Hospital

Ezra is being transferred as we speak. Transfers are always risky so we pray that it will go smoothly. They want to be sure to have dialysis available immediately because his potassium is still dangerously high.  From a lungs standpoint, he has been weaned off of the nitric oxide, taken off the oscillator, and transitioned to the standard ventilator prior to transfer.  Unfortunately, Nicole will not be able to be discharged from UCSD tonight due to a spinal headache but hopes to go home tomorrow morning.
