Dec. 8 Morning

Ezra continues to be tolerating the conventional ventilator which we are very grateful for.  In an hour he will have been on it for 48 hours.  They have had to increase the oxygen a little bit but nothing significant as of yet.  When I came in this morning the neonatalologist wanted his paralytic off. An hour after that Ezra started to have some rhythmic movement with his left arm.  After talking to the neonatologist she's thinking it is a side effect from coming off of the paralytic and that is what we are praying it's from.  If it doesn't stop in 24 hours we will need to do an EEG to check and make sure it is not seizure activity.
