Wed, Dec. 7 Evening

Ezra has been on the conventional ventilator for almost 34 hours now. So far he is still tolerating it well. They told us again that he is still in the honeymoon phase and could be for the next couple of days so to be cautiously optimistic since he might tire out.  We are praying this isn't the case but appreciate the forewarning as well. They only have had to give one does of extra pain medication and that was tonight after they made a small adjustment on his sedation.  His heart rate has continued to be more controlled.  His blood pressure is still up and down but not quite as much as last night. Another huge praise is that he has been tolerating position changes much better. Because of this they have been able to manipulate his abdomen to assist in draining more fluid off with the dialysis passess. His overall color and appearance in general looks better as well.

Thank you for your continued prayers and support.

With love,
Jeff & Nicole
