Early Morning 11/19 Update

Just talked to the nurse. Ezra's labs weren't up yet but she did just do an arterial blood gas which gives us electrolytes and how well his lungs are oxygenating. Potassium is on the higher side but much better then it was. They were able to come down on the nitric oxide to 5 (they had to put him back on it when he went to full respiratory support Thursday) and down on the oxygen level plus one of the settings on the oscillator. Very small baby steps but we will take whatever we can get. So far the peritoneal dialysis catheter is working really well and Ezra is tolerating it very good, praise the Lord! When they first drained it 280ml of fluid came out and they are able to get more off every 30 minutes - poor little guy was in desperate need of it so we are so, so grateful that it is working this far.

  1. So so thankful the catheter is working well, and how amazing to see progress in other areas too! We will continue to pray! Erika and Caleb
