Saturday, Nov. 19 Update

We just got done visiting Ezra. He had a good night and so far a good morning. The peritoneal dialysis catheter is still working well which we are so thankful for. They are making some small changes in the dialysis to help him clear a little more out of his body.  They are only making small adjustments because they really don't want to cause the catheter to leak if we can help it- that would make us take a giant step backwards. That being said, everyone was impressed of how well his surgery went yesterday- we just smiled knowing exactly how it could go so well- God is good.  A huge concern right now is our lung function. We are making small steps forward and for that we are grateful for but it is still unknown if Ezra's lungs will ever be compatible with life. This is always a kick in the gut hearing this even though we have had many weeks knowing it. We continue to be on our knees and trusting in God's plan. I know we keep saying this but thank you all for the continued prayers. They are powerful and working.
